Video tolling, toll-by-plate, pay-by-plate, pay-by-mail – these are all terms that are increasingly familiar, especially as toll roads transition to Cashless or All-Electronic Tolling (AET). The implementation of video tolling can result in increased revenues for operators and decreased operating expenses associated with traditional toll booths and payment machines, while offering customers more seamless travel options; but it requires a lot more than simply installing cameras to read license plates. In this conference, industry thought leaders will come together to discuss video tolling end-to-end – license plate design, roadside / camera technology, back office integration, manual image review, name and address lookup, invoicing and collections, reducing leakage, and everything in between.
We invite you to join us as we hear from agencies, vendors, and consultants across the U.S., Europe, and abroad about various applications and implementations of video tolling, best practices, approaches to leakage, and the future of the sector.
